What's in the room.
Our default vocal mic is the Sony C800G — the same tube condenser on Kanye, Travis Scott, Drake, and Frank Ocean records. We also run a Neumann U87, plus a full set of dynamic mics for live tracking. The C800G lives in the booth as the standard vocal mic, not a rent-on-request piece.
Sony C800G → Neve 1073SPX preamp → Tube-Tech CL1B opto compressor → UAD Apollo x8 interface. The same chain elite studios run, on every vocal session — no upcharge or tier gate. The C800G captures, the 1073 adds harmonic warmth, the CL1B controls dynamics musically, and the Apollo handles conversion.
Yes. We run a Neve 1073SPX — the modern AMS Neve reissue with the original Class A circuit and Marinair-style transformers, plus a built-in EQ section. It's on more #1 records than any preamp in history, and at Lush it's the default preamp on every vocal session.
We track and mix in Logic Pro on a UAD-powered chain (Apollo x8 with native and UAD plugins). Studio monitoring is a Yamaha HS8 pair with Yamaha HS8s subs in a treated control room, paired with an isolated vocal booth. The adjacent event space runs a $10K QSC system — two QSC K12 mains and two QSC KW181 subs — for live playback, listening parties, and concerts.

How to book.
Two hours for engineer-led recording sessions ($75/hr vocal, $100/hr senior engineer). Studio room rental without engineer is sold as a 5-hour bundle at $250. The 6-hour daytime special is a single $400 flat block. We don't take 1-hour vocal bookings — two hours is the minimum to set up, warm up, and actually capture takes worth keeping.
Click "Book a Session" on the site and choose your tier on the booking page, or call/text 647-799-2439 and we'll lock your date directly. You can also send an inquiry through the form on most pages and we'll reply by email within the day.
An in-house engineer, the full vocal chain (C800G + Neve 1073 + Tube-Tech CL1B + Apollo x8), mic setup, comping, and a rough bounce of your session at the end. Optional multicam capture of the booth is available so you can post the session to your own feeds — you keep the raw footage and own the edit.
Yes. Studio room rental at $250 for 5 hours gives you the full chain to run yourself — bring your engineer, your producer, or operate it solo for cookups and demos. If you'd rather we engineer it, the $75/hr vocal recording rate includes our in-house engineer.
