FAQ
- What skill level is this for?
- Intermediate. You should already know your way around your DAW (Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton, FL — any modern DAW works) and have mixed at least a few of your own songs. We move fast; we're not teaching beginner mouse-clicks.
- What DAW should I bring?
- Whatever you already use. We run Logic Pro in the room for demos. Your stems-ready project file just needs to export cleanly — bring the session on a thumb drive or have a cloud link ready.
- Can I just observe without bringing a project?
- Yes — you'll still get the three technique deep-dives and Q&A. You'll miss the critique round value, but the chain breakdowns alone are worth the seat.
- Is parking free?
- Yes. Free on-site parking at 675 Garyray Dr, North York. Plenty of street parking too.
- Do I need to bring my own headphones?
- Optional — we have studio monitors and a couple of pro reference cans in the room. If you mix on your own headphones, bring them. Mix decisions translate better when you're using gear you know.
- What if I can't make the date but want the next one?
- Join the Insider List. We announce the next session there first, and Insider members get the 20% early-bird rate.
